Ive installed service pack 2 but now I find I cant set my size of opening internet explorer pages anymore. I used to use the following as my home page

javascript:resizeTo(1024,768);moveTo(128,110);document.location.href='http://www.google.com/'

Now with sp2 when I click internet explorer it opens for a about half a second then closes, if I change the home page to just google then it opens fine. I turned off the pop up blocker in ie but its still doing it, what do I have to switch off to allow me to use it again? Thanks

Hi mwd__,

It might just be SP2. I don't think SP2 allows you to modify the window unless the user tells it to. It's a huge pain in the ass to use true developers, but I guess when you put in account of those spyware popups, it might be like that.

Just to verify, try making your homepage a local document. Have in it a hyperlink that when clicked will change the window size, move it, and do window.location.href='http://www.google.com/' and see if it works.

Zyloch
