Q_20922080.html   how to save outlook settings, such as folders and other options

If the account is removed and then re- added to the outlook, wont this remove all of the client settings? sucha s folders, rules, and anything else that was not set on the server side?

Hi akivagoldstein,

Removing the account should not remove them

Check these to backup outlook data

Look for *.pst file searching in hidden folders
Mostly it would be found in
C:\Documents and Settings\{your profile name}\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
