I wish to integrate caller id recognition into an existing c# app.

i can handle the database lookup but i've no idea how to connect to the phone system an Avaya IP403 Office  and IP400 Phone.

I know it is possible as the phone system comes with pc software to pop up on reciept of a call.

can anyone give me a couple of pointers as to where to get started.
