Are you talking about when you are looking at the contacts folder in a Address Card or Phone Book view, or do you mean when you actually open up an individual contact?

Also what version of Outlook are you using?

On the address card or phone book. Outlook 2000

VIEW->CURRENT VIEW->CUSTOMIZE CURRENT VIEW, click on the FIELDS button, and remove that field (on OL2003 it's called "Country/Region" and I think it is the same for OL2K).
