really simple question

why is the first column of a ListView not able to accept an alignment - even though the option is there in the columns editor, it just won't change and is always left justified.

I've looked through the delphi help files and didn't see anything mentioned.

I think this is a Window thing... the common workaround is to set the first column width to ZERO, then the next column will show up as the "first" one and you can align it =o)

"Windows" thing... is a "feature" =o)...
just remember if you set the first column width to zero, when you add the items, you'll now have to add SubItems(0), to be able to see that in the first (visible) column

a "Window's Feature" explains it all really - in real terms "Bug" or "Oops, we forgot to add in X to..."
