Unable to open xml file

I have been sent an attachment in the form of an xml file but get the following error when i launch it

The system cannot locate the resource specified. Error processing resource 'tescostps.dtd'. Error processing resource 'fil...

Download Outlook attachement options via MS and open this attachment after saving it to disk first...

I am using lotus notes not outlook

Those two are great (both are discussing the evolution of both methods where you can learn the diffrerences)

Do you have the source for "tescostps.dtd" saved on the same location as with your xml file? If so, then Save All attachments using Lotus Notes, if not, then you have to get the exact location of that dtd file in order to view the xml file.

Yes i do have the option to detach the file and save it to a location. I have done this and tried to open the file using excel, but cannot see the proper image
If you want to open it for editing purposes, try to open it via notepat. If you wish to view the file, you may open it via IE and than save it as one of the supported format. I would suggest to open the file using 'Notepad' to verify the file is properly written...
