hello.... In my form, I have a text field, and a button. I will place my cursor in this text field and read the barcode using barcode scanner. How do I read the barcode?

Can also tell me where can I get a good deal on bar code scanner?

Thanks all

I have had some experience with different Bar code readers, but with all of them I had nothing to code. Just scan when your cursor in the control that can get text input (usually texbox). Most of barcode readers just sending keystokes like regular keyboard and often its very big problem to differ user keyed entry from barcode entry.

Sometime when you  get the string it contains extra characters depending on barcode itself

so just plug your reader in and scan. Barcode's value will appear in your textbox.

If it doesn't , let me know
