In a web-data-grid I can get the builder to do what I want with respect to add a button as a column and dispaly the "part #" as the button text.

I have a ds bound to the grid already, I just need to enhance the first column to do more.  I'd like to use a button to call a separae form (configurator or builder as an example).  I'd need to pass the button text or a key in the call.

Any ideas?  I have this in a web version here. http://www.lotmate.com/images/app1.JPG

I want to get that same thing using the button.  If it's just easier to call another page in a different manner I'm all eyes :)

All the hit's I've gotten via google even when I say "WIN FORM" give an asp.net datagrid.

TIA

It´s a lot more work to do this in a winforms datagrid.

but here you are...

also you might want to search "winforms" instead of "WIN FORM" as that should give you more results
