In D5 I was able to create my own code templates, but I cannot see how to do this in D7.  How do I find that Add button (mentioned in the help file) to add a code template of my own?

You can try the Menu Tools|Editor Options... -> Source Options -> Edit Code Templates...

Click Add... then type in a name etc.
Then in the memo box type your code template.

Close the dialog.

Type in the first letters of your word and CTRL+J will popup the possibilities.

Good luck!
