Hi

I have a Frame based application, In this frame (Left page  & Right page), all pages displays in the right page has LOGOUT button, when I click I'm ending the session and saying Thanks U message. Now the problem is when I click logout button, it is ending the session and Thank U message is shoing up in the right page itself. But I can still view Left page (menus). Ofcourse when I click on menus in left page, its not working bcoz of session end. But what I want is when U logout, whole frame should dissappeare and single page of Thank U message should come.

Regards,
H

I assume when you login you go to a page called as index.html. This index.html is a frameset consisting of left and right frames. left to show menu and right to show the screens.
I assume that you have some sort of image or button on the menu which says logoff.
This can be either an html page or jsp page,
Assuming you have a button you an code it like
<input type ="button" onclick = "parent.top.location='index.html'" value="Logoff">

Your index.html page can be your startup page/thankyou page

Using frames it wont be possible to show the actual page name ( i assume you mean the address bar ).But why would you want to do that i.e show the actual address ?

On the address bar, dont think so.
If you want to dispaly it on the page you can use this
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"><!--
document.write('The Actual URL of thie document is '+location.href+'.<BR>')
//-->
</SCRIPT>
