What is the maximum size of jar, image, ringtones and etc that the wap browser allow the phone to download?

I have a wap page that allow phone to download jad file. My problem is when i put the jar file with 52 KB size and the phone is unable to download it (without prompt me any error). After that i change to a small jar file (15 kb) then it's successful to download. Why?

thanks

Hi,
it depends on the model, and network.

e.g.
SE k700i supports 100KB
NOKIA 6230 supports 100KB

low end phones supports upto 30k

it also depends on the network, it may block the content if it is greater than 100kb.

however there are models  that supports more than 100KB
e.g. SE P900 - 300KB ...
