Hi everyone,

Because i need to implement an existing vba- software into macintosh office x (or 2004), i need to know how to implement certain functionalities into a mac environment:

- Accessing LDAP-Directories via VBA
In windows, it was implemented using
    Set objConnection = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
    Set objCommand = CreateObject("ADODB.Command")
etc.

- Retrieving and writing data from / to XML-Files
In windows, this was implementing using DOMDocument30-Objects and the MSXML 30-Library

Has anyone done something like this up to now?
If possible, I would like to avoid using additional software such as REALBasic etc, becaus the application has to run on a community of thousands of macs, and I shouldn't change the environment, if possible.

Regards,
Marcel

I think that you VBA scripts are the same for Windows or mac i.e. there is no VBA for Windows and VBA for Mac.
So, if everything is configured correctly (connection driver...) then VBA scripts should run correctly on Mac platform.
