Windows 2000 Server Compatible Firewall?

As seen by the other questions I've posted in here I'vebeen having a rash of strange problems since an upgrade to Windows 2000 AS from NT4.  I don't know if they're all interrelated or not, but I'm beginning to suspect that ZoneAlarm may be the problem, particularly with the issue of bluescreens caused by afd.sys

So, ZA is going to have to go, are there any firewalls with the same, or close to the same featureset that won't make me crash?

Especially, are there any that are Free/Open Source?
