Gómez peer web performance application

I installed an application called Gómezpeer which pays for my PC processing time, but it only runs on the user profile that I installed it on , as they said. However I'd like to know if there is a way to work around this so that other  users on my PC can run whithin their own accounts.

Hi cayi,

It should permit other users which have independent accounts with Gomezpeer to install and use it. Most such applications do take into account people surfing from public computers and family and friends accessing from the same home PC.

If this one does not, then trying to bypass it will be illegal and your current legitimate account can be terminated. It is better to leave it alone.

Btw, I went through the EULA it says nothing about running peer from different accounts as long as "Keep in mind that you can only run one copy of the Gómez PEER on each machine."

Still you can mail them to seek further clarification

cheers

Just to make clear that you got what I meant:  user profile accounts on my pc but not multiple accounts per user with gomezpeer

On the EULA,  I think the statement of "...only one copy on each machine", really means on 1 user profile.

In that case, I interpreted it correctly :)

I too think the same. Is there some installation option to make it available to all users of the system, like MS Office? If yes, use that.

In any case, if some other user is logged in, there will be only one copy of Gomezpeer *running*, from his/her login as other logins will be inactive. (unless you have remote logins to a server which I believe is not the case here). Keyword was running :).

I would still recommend mailing them for clarifications just to be sure.
