Changing IE browser header and footer

How can I temporarily remove the headers and footers for IE.  Not the html head but the header that the browser assigns.  I can use either vbscript or javascript or asp which ever solution is available.

Seems to be way too much work to bother.
The header/footer can't be THAT annoying...

What do you mean?  When you print?

This is not possible using VBScript, JavaScript, nor ASP, because these settings are put into place on the browser level, not at the page level.

I only want to not display the automatically generated header and footer from ie when I print a page.

The only way to do this is to go to File > Page Setup and remove the Header and Footer settings manually.

There has to be a way to do this somehow.  Or to flip everything to landscape automatically.
