how to kill the popup in free hosts

I know there's a <nobanner> tag option for a popup ad but what about a <nopopup> option to have inline links instead with my free hosting.  If I consult with them I often get unanswered because I'm on a free account.

Rather than deal with this, wouldn't it be easier to use a free hosting company with no ads (pop-up or otherwise)?  If you think so, check out www.100webspace.com/freeplan.html & www.000k.com/index.php.

thanks for your insight, actually I've thought about free hosting with no ads but it's kinda hard to find one that won't switch to the popup option eventually.  but anyway I'm still curious about any piece of code for the nopopup.  Can you help me with this?

I think you're fairly safe with either of these choices as they aren't free hosting companies.  They're paid hosting companies that offer small plans for free in order to demonstrate the quality and value of their services.

I don't know of a JavaScript option to do what you're looking for, but there are several first rate JavaScript experts in this TA who might.
