if then go to line #

can I put a command in an if then statement that forces the program to skip ahead to a certain line?

if [comparision = true] then
    goto line [whatever]
end if

Which language?

But probably you'd better do:

If [comparision = false] then
  execute lines you'd otherwise wouldn't
end if
