Hi Experts,
I a new to networking. I know just few concepts (not much in details).
I just want to startup with the networking.
Actually I have to start working on CDMA but I guess to understand CDMA I need to understand the basic concepts to grasp CDMA. Could you please suggest me some books, sites where I can find the information and can learn the sufficient things to start with CDMA networking.

PS: Though I am new to networking but I know the concepts which a programmer should know who has written some sample TCP/IP program in windows using WinSock

You might consider looking at some of the Network+ certification guides.  Even if you don't want to take the Network+ test, by CompTIA, these books will teach you everything you need to know about networking.

Also, anything from Sybex is good reading. (Normally have Black spline and White face)

WatchGuard Case Study: Museum of Flight

“With limited money and limited staffing, we didn’t have a lot of choices in terms of what we could do to bring efficiency. WatchGuard played a central part in changing that.” To provide strong, secure Wi-Fi access within the museum, Hunter chose to deploy WatchGuard’s AP120 APs.

Hi Experts,
thanks for your suggestion. I will try to look into the things which you have suggested. But again my basic question is "Will I be able to understand CDMA after reading all this?" because I tried to go through some books of CDMA but I found it too advance for me as I don't know how the radio spectrum and modulation demodulation works

thanks

AmitAgarwal,

When you said CDMA, I assumed you meant CSMA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access) or CSMA/CD (Carrier Sense Multiple Access With Collision Detection), since you asked about computer networking.  Is this what you wanted or did you really mean CDMA as it pertains to cell phones?  If you're talking about CSMA, the book I recommended will give you a good idea of how CDMA works, but it will not give you the most technical details you may be asking for.
