How to setup a VPN

Hi,

I have gone though XP wizard to set up the VPN, and I am using Wireless-G Broadband Router   WRT54G, which reports that VPN is enabled. But, I can not connect to this VPN. What should I check?

Thank you.

It seems this router has a problem with VPN. I am abandonging the attempt (will use remote desktop of VNC), but the links were useful
