What kind of a P3 are you planning on using? If you're having a SLOT-1 processor, you probably have a hard time looking for them.
SLOT-1 motherboard are almost only found second hand, so be sure to test before you buy. And also check the chipset on the motherboard, for example, the Intel 440LX doesn't support PIII, but the 440BX does.
