Linksys & Sonicwall VPN setup

I am having trouble setting up  a linksys BEFVP41 connection to a Sonicwall VPN- VX Pro.  I have tried all combinations of encryption and authencation.  I need help with suggested setup.  I keep getting errors such as  "ID Invalid" and No proposal Chosen".  Any suggestions?

This one is tough. I had to do the exact same setup for a client.

Set the VX-PRO to use aggressive mode and set the Linksys box to do the same. ( The setting is under advanced and it is a checkbox near the top.)
