Our lease ran out on our PictureTel video conferencing. We bought the hardware (was cheaper than returning). I never used or setup this system, here is what I know:

PC is a PIII with WinNT (Will not boot - software problem)
Camera unit is PictureTel APTZ-1N
Cards that were in computer are:
4 port ISDN modem (we got rid of ISDN service)
card with vcr and tv output
card for stereo output
video card

All of these cards are cabled together. I tried searches for the different numbers on the cards and came up with nothing.

My questions are...

Can we use the web cam, microphone and remote control (for camera) on a normal PC with an ethernet connection using NetMeeting ?
Where could I find the software drivers for the camera unit ?
I realize this is not a complete question, so ask me for details and I will find them.

Hello Peerlesspump,
Based on the limited information provided, I would geuss you have a PictureTEL TeamStation (i.e. the partnershp between PictureTEL and Intel).  Unless you have the original picturetel/intel software, accessing the propertary hardware will be the challenge.

You may want to contact Polycom support (since Polycom acquired PictureTEL) or Intel for actual drivers.

Additionally, you may wish to access ebay and search for a used VC system matching yours (if parts are needed).

I know this is not exactly the answers to your questions; however, these 2 vendors may be able to assist.

Good luck,
AceUnknown

They really don't want to speak with you unless you have a service agreement. I am going to just stick this stuff on ebay.
