How to create a HTML login form to get into a exchange server on web instead of getting default popup login screen from ms exchage Server OWA

Hi,

We have exchange 2000 server.
I want to modify default login screen of OWA to my custom web login form in HTML.
Please suggest.

It is not really recommended to modify the OWA logon pages, since most of the time the changes are wiped after Serivce Pack installs etc ... I know MS doesn't like to support OWA if it has been branded, and if you require support in the future, you'll probably have to reinstall over top of the existing ....

That being said -


"In Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5, the OWA component was a series of Active Server Pages, HTML, and Jscript. In Exchange 2000, the OWA component is tightly integrated with the Exchange 2000 server itself for increased performance and functionality, and you cannot customize OWA for Exchange 2000 in the same way as you customized OWA under Exchange Server 5.5.

However, because of the new capabilities of OWA in Exchange 2000, you can still customize your OWA experience by using one of the two methods described in this article." (See kb 321832)
