How to add time together.

Please, how do i add time together? right now the format of the time is dd:hh:mm:ss (5:09:34:23). I will like to add differ time together. EG 4:14:23:56 + 1:02:20:02 = 5:16:43:58. I need the formula and example to follow.

You need to convert both times to the lowest measurement first, then add them together, and then seperate them out again.
