Windows FAX with ADSL Router Modem

WE are using ADSL Router Modem to access Internet  thourgh proxy. Can we use this modem to recieve or send Fax as well. We dont have fax machine ...Can i configure any PC to recieve and send Fax through ADSL Modem directly or through Proxy server what we are using for internet.

You need a third party subscription if you wish to send / receive faxes via the internet.  I use EFax, but there are others around.

As an alternative, you could install a modem and use it for sending / receiving, but you will need a phone line dropped in by your local telco.
