Hi,

When i was on OS 9 i printed to the printer over the network and all was fine. I have upgraded to OS X 10.3 and now when i print the colour is faded. I have tried to print from Classic but cant get Illustrator to run in OS 9. When i installed Version 8 of Illustrator and then tried to open document the following error appeared:

The file [filename] is an unknown format and cant be opened.

So i have then tried to find a driver or PPD but have had a torrid time finding one.

If anyone could advise on how to sort problem with printer (as main problem) and if they could help with the issue of documents not opening in version 8 of illustartor i would be most greatful.

Thanks in advance

Have you set up your color management settings in Illustrator? Is your monitor properly calibrated? It doesn't look like epson supports that printer anymore as far as drivers go. Even their latest windows driver was posted in early 2001.
