Mozilla Thunderbird: Load mail from another profile

I recently upgraded my version of Thunderbird, when I did it created a new profile for my mail.  My old mail is still on this disk, however.  I want to load this mail and merge it with my current profile.  How can I acomplish this?

Here is the solution:

Set up your mail as before.  Copy the mail from the old folders into the new ones.  The stuff is there.
