Is anybody here familiar with cdimage?
>> cdimagegui.exe or CDIMAGE.EXE

Issue: I am trying to make bootable Windows xp CD Image (ISO) through cdimage.exe

Problem: it won’t boot.

Error: NTLDR is missing or corrupt

Command Line: CDIMAGE.EXE -Ltitle  -Bbootxp.img d:\xp d:\myxp.iso -G -H -M -N -O -X

Explanation:
--------------
I've downloaded the boot image from several places, create boot image from my working xp cd through Magic ISO,
Ultra ISO also have Winimage but can’t figure out how to make boot image through that.
Now please don’t tell me that I can use Nero, Roxio, Magic ISO etc, etc for the same thing.
because the reason I am trying to use is, cdimage.exe has a very good feature that it optimize storage by encoding duplicate files only once. That means you can put more files in one cd and I wanted to put XP Home, XP Pro in one regular CD.

In my understanding, either I am using the wrong switch or maybe this utility uses certain type of boot image.

Any suggestion friends. I have 30 points left so I am giving it to the person who solves this puzzle.
Thanks

:-)

yes i tried several cd roms. that was not the problem.
the problem was when i was trying to put both xp Pro & Home in one cd, it wont boot.

Your commands is right, however it needs little more than that.
Finally i found a very good link and followed the steps.
You need to make a folder and unzip all the bootable floppies in it and modify few files.

Just to add it to record for the future users.
