I am new to w2k. Somebody please tell me how to get into safe mode. jonmar

When your computer starts/reboot press F8. In most computers it is F8. On starting the screen will display a message like 'Press F8 to go to other options'...something like that. Press F8

That's right after post, where it counts the RAM and before it gets to the "loading windows 2000" screen"
