Looking for documentation for the values in this key:

"HKey_Local_Machine\software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update"

What are the possible values and what do each mean?
--AUOptions
--ConfigVer
--NextDetectionTime
--ResetAU
--ScheduledInstallDate
--ScheduledInstallDay
--ScheduledInstallTime

These registry values have to do with controlling how Windows Update is configured

The 1st is what I'm looking for but is not complete.

The 2nd one deals with group policies and is in a different place in the registry.

Let me know if you find anything more descriptive along the lines of the 1st. Thanks!

ScheduledInstallDate: is eaily being configured out yourself. If AUOPTIONS is set to 4: Automatically download and scheduled installation, then it determins when the downloaded installations should be installed.

NextDetectionTime: Is the time when Windows should check for updates

ConfigVer: I don't have it in my registry and I can't find any info about it

ResetAU: only thing I found about this is about problems with SP1, if you don't have the rights to edit the key it may give an error at the end of the installation of SP1

Some of these keys pertain to SUS and not WUS.  You might also want to have a look at this forum: http://forums.susserver.com

1.  AUOptions.  http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/1176/
2.  ConfigVer.  I cannot find any reference to this at all.
3.  NextDetectionTime.  The only references I can find are on the forum I mentioned at the top of this post.
4.  ResetAU.  Cannot find anything.
5.  ScheduledInstallDate.  http://mcpmag.com/Features/article.asp?EditorialsID=342
6.  ScheduledInstallDay  http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/1176/
7.  ScheduledInstallTime  http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/1176/
