Parser Error
Description: An error occurred during the parsing of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific parse error details and modify your source file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Could not load type 'evaluation.Global'.

Source Error:

Line 1:  <%@ Application Codebehind="Global.asax.vb" Inherits="evaluation.Global" %>

Source File: D:\projects\evaluation\web\global.asax    Line: 1

Here's what i did
i deleted the D:\projects\evaluation\web\bin\evaluation.dll
reason, i have hardcoded the db to a path D:\projects\evaluation\db\database.db

now when i deployed it on the different server,
i get an error (sumthing about the database), i found that it is looking at my hardcoded dbpath.
so i deleted the dll and run again, now i get this error.

i have created asp.net pages now how do i properly deploy it on the different server?

can i have it on different path?
when i build using from the scratch, i could change the path in the code
the code will still run perfectly on the server.

now i convert it to visual studio project, i could not change the code,
i have to recompile to make it work again.

is this how it should be done?

yes if the path is in codebehind it should be recompiled...but if it is in web.config u don't have to recompile..
