Hello Everyone,

The purpose of this thread is to have a fast way to call the experts in a question that you work on but you cannot help further; in question you had found and which is not answered and you have no idea what to there and so on. I will use it to post links to questions about Java from other areas, for questions from Java area that are off first page and still need assistance and so on. Anyone is welcome to post here requests for the other experts - but please do NOT post Administrative requests (reopenings, grade reviews and so on) and please do not move any quarrel here - let's this be the thread be just a notifier.

So if you are interested - please subscribe :)

Hey, everyone. This is in the JSP area, but it's getting into Oracle and JDBC that I am not familiar with. Please take a look:

Not really the point of this Q, but as there's no "submit topic news" protocol on EE, I thought I'd post it here...

There's a new worm on the loose, which targets MySQL with weak root passwords...

http://isc.sans.org/diary.php?isc=a508f4a185755af19ea8bd45444a570b

So make sure your root password is unguessable, and (probably more important) make sure port 3306 is blocked by your firewall...
