Menu not stay put...

...does any one know the trick to keep the menu put? i use word as my e-mail editor and everytime i do my menu keeps on changin, if i fix it next time i start my e-mail it always changes back...office 2000 / windows 2000.

try view | toolbars | customize | options tab | tick off the show recently used menutitems first
