HotSync: Log says all OK but data is not synced

Hi there.

I have recently bougt a Tungsten T3 and succesfully synced it to my PC at home. My problem arrives when I try and sync it at work where the log tells me that the sync has been successful but no contacts/calendar notes etc are transferred either to or from the T3. The "Documents to go" portion of the sync appears to be working fine.

I have set the custom sync to fully sync all conduits.

Why might this happen?

It sounds like a profile problem.  First uninstall the software at work then try reinstalling the software at work again and when if asks you if you want to create a profile tell it no and enter your profile name.  To get to the profile name on the t3 go to home and click on hotsync, it should tell you on this screen.  Then just resync.

Would it matter that I have the same Profile name at home and at work or that I use XP at home and NT4 at work?

skynum, this seems to work but that's the second time it's fallen over. Can't work out why!
