How to stop w2k pc from accessing internet

I need to stop a windows 2000 pc from accessing the internet. Could you please advise me on how to do this.

You can unplug the LAN cable... just kidding.

Depends, how is your configuration setup?

If it is a windows 2000 domain, you can disable internet access by ip or mac address etc...

OR  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings]

Change the value of "ProxyEnable" and set it to "1". Change the value of "ProxyServer" and set it to an IP address and port that is invalid on your network such as "10.0.0.1:5555" (i.e. "IP:Port").
