put html or word doc in the body of email

Have you tried setting Word as your email editor? To set it go to the "Tools -> Options" in the main menu, then select the "Mail Format" tab and select the option that says something like "Use Microsoft Office Word to edit e-mail messages".

Basically, I have a word Doc that I want to keep the same format when I paste it into email, when I do that, the format is off...

I have a template that is in word, is there a way that I can always use that template?  If I do copy and paste to the email, the formats are off..  Thx

I create a html file first, then open it in ie, then file, send, page by email.....

I do not know if there is a better way....

You could create a custom Stationary. I have not used them my self, and so do not have any personal experience, but here are some EE threads discussing the topic:
