Hi,  My copy of Outlook 2003 keeps reverting to the English US dictionary.  Each time I select English UK it defaults back again straight away.  How can I change to English UK permanently please?

You want to be sure that the both Outlook and Windows default
languages are identical.

And have you turned off keyboard switching in Word's
Tools/Options/Edit?

And also turned off automatic langauge detection in
Tools/Language/Set language?

If you look at the Keyboard/Language in Windows, do you have
English US entered as a language in that list? Do you NEED to
work with English US? If not, then delete it from the list here.

If you need the US dictionary occasionally, go to START/Programs/Microsoft Office
Tools/Microsoft Office Language Tools (or something similar)
and remove English US from the list of *activated* languages.
That may help settle things down.
