Automatic conversion of any image type to JPG
Hi,
I have built a JPS program for the principle purpose of collecting images, in JPG format, and displaying them for users of my department. Many of the users have previously collected hundreds of images onto the network server in their respective folders and the majority of them are in TIFF format. For easy integration of our new program, I would like to offer them the ability to upload their folders of images which will automatically be converted to JPG for their future use within the program.
Does anyone have an idea how to accomplish this?

try using the ImageIO class by reading the images to create a BufferedImage, and then save them as a JPEG.
