NNTP setup - trying after forest and domainprep for MS Exchange server 2003

Hi guys,
I get "Overlapped I/O operation is in progress" error when i try to add a new NNTP Virtual Directory to IIS for setting up Exchange Server 2003. Unfortunately I didn't do this until after forestprep and domainprep operations for Exchange Server 2003 ... And the Exchange 2003 installer complains that NNTP is not enabled on the server.  Is there a workaround available for this?
Also , can forestprep and domainprep for Exchange Server 2003 be undone?

Appreciate any feedback.

Thanks

altho not directly the answer I was looking for, I was able to follow a link under that one that led me to find NNTP install and this fixes my problem i believe. so the moral of the story is when NNTP is not installed the error message is "Overlapped I/O operation is in progress". Thanks for the help.
