Hi Experts...

I hope I can get help here, I am approaching after doing a futile search on Internet.

The problem is:

We are having a production server with the following config:

IBM xseries 255
Ram 4gb
window 200 advance server sp3
sql server 2000 standar sp3

The website is on different system.

The SQL server was working properly and suddenly it developed a problem and started showing error messages in Logs. The error messages as seen on different logs are ...

Now, this is causing the website to slow down. It is a site accessed by more than 18k people, and average connection count is 15 at any given moment.

we even checked the number of conenctions in the connection tab of the properties of the server and the cunt is set to Zero.

Can anyone point me in right direction? Please... If we dont rectify it immediately, we will be having problem with the client. I want to give more than 500 points and will open anoter question for alloting the same. The situation is urgent

Thanks and Regards
Kiran

I'm sure you're right that you have SQL Server Standard Edition but is that worth confirming?

Select @@version

What does it state?   Should be .760 for SP3a I think.

Also, just a thought but how long has your SQL Server been up for?   Might be due for a restart?
