I have a Windows 2003 Server running SharePoint Services and IIS 6.0 along with Microsoft Project Server 2003. I have been unable to set up the email notification and reminders on the MS PRoject Server. I goto to the Notification and Reminder WebPage,  Admin > Customize Project Access > Notification and Reminders , but do not know what to use for;
SMTP mail server:
Port:
From address:
Company e-mail address:
Default e-mail message:

For SMTP server, you have to write the name of the server that you use to get send your e-mail. For instance, if your e-mail is me@someDomain.com, then your SMTP server may be something like "mail.someDomain.com" or something like that. If you have your e-mail setup in Outlook, you can go to Tools -> E-mail Accounts -> View Existing account -> Select your e-mail account -> Click "Change". The SMTP server should be listed under Outgoing Server.

You may need to call your mail service provider to get the name of the server if you don't know it or can't find it in Outlook. Also to get the port number, if it's necessary.
