Panda Antivirus - Cannot uninstall/install agent

I recently began the process of deploying Panda Antivirus on my network. During a tech support phone call my Panda AdminSecure installation on the server has become corrupt. I am now unable to install the Panda_AV agent on my own computer. The uninstall routine runs, but never does its job and my new installation of AdminSecure is unable to change it. Is there any way of forcing uninstallation or reinstallation of the Panda agent?

When I need to do a manual deinstallation of the software I do it this way:
1) I delete (or rename) the directory where the software installs itself, then reboot.
2) I delete any registry keys that relate to the software and usually found in HKLM\Software\
then under the vendor name and software name
3) I then delete icons and groups from the start menu.
4) Then I try to uninstall it using add/remove programs which usually just removes it from the installed programs list

In really bad cases I will then:
5) REINSTALL the software, reboot
6) DEINSTALL the software, reboot
7) Then delete (or rename) the directory where the software installs itself, then reboot.
8) and finally delete any registry keys that relate to the software and usually found in HKLM\Software\
then under the vendor name and software name

I hope this is able to help you.  Since I don't use Panda AV myself I don't know what registry keys or directories it uses.

Alandc, you right you haven't used Panda because you can't do any of the things you suggested this software is a bear (no pun intended) and is extremely difficult to remove once it is loaded.

Danielrlm, I've had a panda consultant out to our company and after a year and a half of battling this beast, I still don't have it working right. I have installed numerous updates to the Admin Secure Console which hasn't fixed anything and I am still trying to get the client shield uninstalled and reinstalled properly on my computers. I would like know if you have switched to a different antivirus.
