Bart PE: I want to add Adaware SE & Grisoft AVG

I've been using PE Builder to build a copy of BartPE using XP sp1

I've gotten a few plugins working on my own, however I have been unsuccessful at getting either Adaware SE (the new version 1.0x, not the old 6.x version) and Grisoft's AVG Anti-Virus software to work.

Does anybody have working INF/XML/CMD files to get these programs working? I would also like to add Spybot Search & Destroy if anybody has the necessary files for this plugin as well.

I can get Adaware SE to launch, but it says it can't load the definitions file, even though the path is correct and the defs.ref file is there.

AVG by Grisoft doesn't even launch, the menu item is enabled but AVG won't run.

I'm trying to get this working so I can remove a dastardly Trojan that goes by the name of downloader.small.9.ai

Thanks

-Tom

Prior to fighting malware with spyware tools, be sure to have a reliable updated Viruscan program with virus definition files also updates and do deep scanning.  BUT be sure to turn off System Restore first before cleaning, or it'll be reintroduced.
This is quite good.

Try one of the online scanners noted in the first link above since you're having problems with existing scanning engine.

It might also be helpful to reboot in Safe Mode and scan the system using HijackThis and post to their free Analyzer service... more about that and guidelines here:

I wasn't looking for suggestions on how to remove the virus, I was hoping somebody here had some experience using Bart PE and integrating the tools I mentioned into it. How do I delete this question?

I could only find one BartPE question and that was in the Windows XP topic area below:

Thanks, LucF, my efforts here clearly didn't help so perhaps a Refund/PAQ so that Asker can ask again, if needed in another TA that may better fit the need.
Thanks,
Asta
