Hi gopikrish,

Visual Basic is not free. You have to pay to get it (at least, the last time I checked). I'm assuming you're not talking about VB Runtime, but the software to help you develop the stuff?

It is not free at all...but you would not get it easily also as Microsoft discarded the product in year 2001 (or 2000)...you can however buy a second hand copy in aution sites like ebay where it is still selling.

Is enterprise edition different from professional edition? Because I see the size of enterprise edition very less compared to that of professional edition.

No but can I create simple projects like making forms and coding them in vb in that Enterprise edition or is it possible only in professional edition? Because I saw Enterprise edition available for download in 130 MB but professional edition is over 500 MB in size.

Both should work. I don't know where you found the downloads, but if it's not a legit place, you gotta look at the file sizes and make educated guesses. My folder is only around 65 mb and I have enterprise. Not sure of setup space, but that's the way mine is.
