Hi,
I have created a domain dfs root BGG and  published in the Active Directory as BSS. Now within the published folder i have folders like Admin, finance.military etc. Now i want to give access to the finance group in such a way the when they connects to the published folder BSS, they will have access to only their finance folder and it contents but the rest will not appear in the list to them at all. Is this possible?

i would not use dfs for this

but
you can create shares pointing to the folders admin, finance, military
\\server\admin$
\\server\finance$
\\server\military$

for finance
make a share for the finance pointing directly to their folder
\\server\finance$   => mapping to the finance folder
with a dollar it will be also invisible

and map this folder for all the finance people using a login script for the finance group

karel_jespers,
I have the same set of folders on another file server and that is the reason i want to implement dfs for the file access.
