Hi Everyone:

While this post has similiarities to one previously closed, I am wanting to go over some things for clarity and confirmation purposes.  Last night, I ordered bundled Pinnacle Studio AV/DV 9.  This bundled package includes an analog/digital capture card with an IEE1394 port and ports for RCA jacks for analog input.  The package includes a professional video editing program called Pinnacle Studio 9.0.
It is my understanding I can simply connect the VCR to the RCA ports of the capture card, open Pinnacle Studio 9.0, click Play on the VCR and click Record within the software to begin capturing the clips.  Am I correct with respect to the logistics of this project?

         Thank you.

Hi There:

Thank you so much for quickly confirming my ideas on the hookups from the VCR to the capture card on the pc.  If I should run into more specific problems or concerns, I will post accordingly.

       Thanks again for your help.
