Device Error 400

I own a 7280 blackberry. After uninstalling a piece of software that I no longer need. My blackberry rebooted, after whic the dialog box reading "Device Error: 400" appears. I tired reset it, pulling the battery out. It still appears. Help. Thanks in advance.

put in your password wrong 10 times and it will reset the device.  2/10 times you will asked to type blackberry.  <---This is just to make sure that the keyboard is functional.  Has worked over 50 times for me.
This solution does not work for 7230 model. When I reset the handheld (pressing in a very little hole in the back under battery location), the handheld boots, the sand clock start spinning and suddently in 15 second the message 'Device Error:400' comes up again. I have downloaded the sofware you mentioned and installed in my PC, but I don't know how to installed in the handheld because the Application loader does not find the handheld, of course, because it has an error in the screen. So, let me know if you have a solution for this problem otherwise I will call the mobile provider to try to find a solution.
