Hey Folks!

I need to include a pop up window on my page that accommodates a flash movie. Currently, I have the necessary code to write text, but I don't know how to have the pop window display a swf file.

Help...?

not sure if I get your question. Why don't you just embed the swf in the html like any other page.

You opening the pop-up using JavaScript?

I've looked through some of the tutorials and I'm still missing what it is I'm looking for.

The majority of what is being presented deals with a pop window where the contents (text, etc) are specified in the context of the Javascript. Getting a window to open up automatically isn't the issue as much as it is the contents of the new window. Blue-Genie is right on the money as far as including the swf file in the context of an html page - that's what I want to do.

So what I need, to put a finer point on it, is a pop window that references a totally different URL. I don't want to have to write the Flash player into the Javascript code if I can avoid it. I would rather the pop up window just be the equivalent to what would happen if I clicked on a link and brought up the new URL in a different window.

Make sense?
