Hi,
  Just a simple question,
Whenever we try to reply to the mails in yahoo or rediff or other
sometimes we notice some html tags below the text area where we need
to write the mail (reply) and above the senders message
Y does that appear, any specific reason
jst was curious to know that

Sloppy generation code.  The script that is generating the pages has some parsing issues, eeither because of bugs in the code or because there are character sequences in the content that is cannot understand.  If you are using a plaintext view of it, it may be something that was sent using and rtf editor to insert obects into the mail.
