Password expiration based on group membership

I have a unique password requirement. I need to set the password for the administrator account to expire after90 days and the password for standard users to last 365 days. I am running Windows 2000 SP4 on stand alone workstations. Can this be done either through a group policy or a registry hack? Is there is 3rd party utility that will let me manage password expiration based on group membership? Is this something that can be done if I was in a 2000 domain? Right now I am just several stand alone workstations. Any help would be appreciated.

You can't use group policy on a local machine to assign specific policies to specific groups since local group policy applies to all users on a computer.

If you were in a domain then you woul simply assign a group policy to an admin OU (organizational unit) and assign a different group policy to a standard users OU. Or however you setup your active directory structure, you would just assign specific policies to specific OUs.
